We have established our own factory in Lima, Peru, committed to promoting local economic development and bringing many positive impacts: promoting traditional agriculture, building trust with workers, and respecting Peru's unique ecological environment.

Originating from the land, giving back to the land

Mustela has always prioritized organic farming, and whenever possible, we choose to grow raw materials in a natural way.
The avocados used in our skincare products are all sourced from fruits that have been upgraded and repurposed in the food industry—fruits that were rejected because they did not meet food safety standards in terms of size, color, or shape, but still retain rich nutritional value.

Given the challenges of water resource management in Peru, we specifically selected avocados from water-rich areas and sourced them only from local farmers using traditional irrigation systems to ensure sustainable development.

Furthermore, to promote responsible sourcing, Laboratoires Expanscience has been a member of UEBT (United Ethical Biotrade Association) since 2011. UEBT is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting ethical sourcing that respects human health and biodiversity. All the avocados we use come from UEBT-certified responsible sources.
