More than 450 measurements and tests to ensure product safety
To ensure the safety of our formulas, our review process is extremely rigorous, involving over 450 measurements and tests. Our products undergo a series of real tests, and any product that fails to pass all stages will never be released to the market.
Product safety testing
To ensure our products are properly preserved, their antimicrobial protective capabilities are tested and evaluated. This testing examines how well the product defends against microorganisms. We add microorganisms to the product and examine how these contaminants dissipate over time.
Stability test
We check whether the product remains consistent—its color, smell, or appearance remains unchanged.
Our products are subjected to extreme temperatures in climate-controlled chambers. In some chambers, temperatures between 40°C and 50°C accelerate the aging process. In test chambers ranging from -10°C to 40°C, our products are subjected to drastic climate changes. These tests ensure that our products maintain high quality when shipped worldwide.
Safety and tolerance testing
• In vitro testing
A world first: Our research team has developed a patented model to cultivate artificial baby skin – Stelaskin®. Thanks to Stelaskin® patented technology, our team is able to reproduce and test the effects of various stress stimuli on different skin types in infants and children, thereby assessing the efficacy and tolerability of our products.
• In vivo testing
We also evaluated the tolerability of our product (no skin irritation) and confirmed that no allergic reactions occurred on the skin of 100 adults.
Clinical examination
Once safety is ensured, we will test the product's harmlessness and efficacy under real-world use conditions. Depending on the product, testing will be conducted on a group of infants (including those under one month old) or pregnant women. This process will be carried out under the supervision of a dermatologist and/or pediatrician.
Final verification by independent experts
As a final step, we submit all results to independent toxicologists outside of our laboratories, who then verify the safety of our product. This is then documented in a safety report, which is readily available to regulatory authorities. Without this documentation, our product cannot be placed on the market.
