Daily bath time is very important for babies: besides keeping them clean, it also promotes sensory development. It's a special time you and your baby share. Here's some helpful information to help you properly clean your baby without harming their delicate, immature skin. By following these tips, you can enjoy your baby's bath time with peace of mind.

    Before taking a bath

    - Heat the bathroom to 20 to 22°C (68 to 72°F).
    - Fill the bathtub with water and keep the water temperature at 37°C (98-99°F), and confirm with a bathtub thermometer.
    - Keep necessary items within easy reach, including towels, toiletries, moisturizer, diapers, and clean clothes or pajamas.
    - Help your baby undress and clean their bottom.

    Taking a shower

In the first few months, place one hand under the baby's neck and shoulder, and the other hand to support their bottom, making them feel securely swaddled. From four to five months, a bath chair can be used if needed.
    - If you find it difficult to wash a newborn in water, you can first wash the newborn with cleaning products on the changing table, and then rinse it in water.
Once your baby can sit up, you can let them move around in the water on their own. But never leave your baby alone in the bathtub , regardless of age, even for just a few seconds or in very little water.
Add a few drops of bath oil to your bath water and mix thoroughly with your hands. No rinsing is required. Please note that the oil will make the bathtub slippery, so be careful.
    - Use soap-free cleaning products specially designed for baby's delicate skin. If baby's skin is dry, choose products containing protective and nourishing ingredients (such as the Cold Cream series).
    - Wash your baby's hair and scalp with a suitable shampoo every two to three days, making sure it doesn't irritate their eyes. If there is cradle cap, choose a special baby shampoo to help remove it. When rinsing, use a cup, toy watering can, showerhead, or your palm—choose the most comfortable method.

    After taking a shower

    - Quickly wrap the baby in a towel and gently pat dry, avoiding rubbing. Pay special attention to the buttocks and skin folds (thighs, armpits, neck, feet, etc.).
Moisturize your baby's skin with a gentle massage, using a body lotion or product containing cold cream , especially suitable for dry skin. If you have time, give your baby a longer massage – it will be a precious and intimate moment that you both love!
    - To leave your baby's skin with a delicate fragrance, you can lightly spray a small amount of fragrance on their hair and body.
