Height and weight
Babies grow rapidly: On average, a three-month-old boy weighs about 5.8 kg and is about 60 cm long; a girl weighs about 5.3 kg and is about 59 cm long.
Big move skills
Now, when you pick up your baby, he can lift his head, although he will fall back after a few seconds. If you let him lie on his stomach, he will lift his head and support himself on his forearms for a moment. When lying on his back, he will stretch and alternately bend his legs and likes to kick them playfully!
Fine motor skills
A baby's movements and gestures gradually become more precise and controllable, evolving from unconsciousness at birth. When resting, his hands are no longer clenched but almost open; he becomes fascinated by his own hands, spending a lot of time observing them. If you give him a toy, he can grasp it, although he will let go after a while. He also begins to try to grab an abacus or small toys hanging from his stroller.
Early Learning
The baby is very sociable, smiling at everyone and even enjoying being held by strangers, although he prefers people he sees daily, such as his mother, father, siblings, or nanny. He shows joy when you approach and follows your movements with his eyes. He begins to show interest in the world around him and enjoys going for walks in a baby carrier or stroller. The baby also becomes more expressive, starting to babble from two months old: giggles, gurgling sounds, guttural sounds, vocalizations, and happy little cries… He's playing with his vocal cords, and these adorable babbling sounds are simply irresistible!
