In the second year, your baby will begin to make amazing progress. Within just a few months, they will learn to walk and talk, while simultaneously improving their fine motor skills and comprehension. These new abilities mean they can play more complex games with you—making them incredibly proud and feeling like they're growing up! Here are some activity suggestions to help them develop and allow you to share precious moments together.
From the age of one: My personal wardrobe
To your baby, the world you live in every day is a fascinating and mysterious place, and they dream of exploring it! They love rummaging through every cabinet and exploring every corner and drawer, but you might not want them to make a mess. Give them a height-appropriate cabinet in the kitchen for safe exploration. Place safe items such as plastic boxes, spoons, and strainers inside, allowing them to rummage and explore freely.
From age one: Animal friends
Most children love looking at and touching animals: if you have a dog or cat at home, you probably already know that. One day, take your baby to the zoo or pet store—it will be just as fun for them. Look at the different animals together, say their names, and imitate their sounds (if you know them), letting your baby observe freely. They will love this adventure full of new discoveries!
