    When everything calms down...

Calm periods don't mean you can "pause" care; quite the opposite! This is the perfect time to pamper your baby's skin , helping it rebuild and protect , leaving it more comfortable (see How to Prevent Atopic Eczema ). Simply apply a moisturizing lotion specially formulated for infants and toddlers daily to not only rehydrate delicate skin but also create precious moments of interaction (see Benefits of Moisturizing Lotion ). It can even become a game: apply to the right hand and give a kiss on the shoulder, apply to the left hand and give two kisses on the palm, plus a delightful tickle!

The first signs of an attack

Is your baby's skin starting to develop red patches? Becoming thickened ? Having trouble sleeping? These are signs that atopic eczema is about to flare up. At this time, increase the frequency of moisturizing care , applying lotion several times a day to relieve extreme dryness. It can even reduce itching by up to 95% immediately . Using moisturizing cream or Stelatopia lotion is your best helper.

One-on-one consultation with your baby regarding atopic eczema

Even if you try your best to avoid it, it can still happen. When it does happen, please follow a two-step action plan :

    1. Focus on the affected area . Treating the inflamed area as early as possible yields faster and better results. The best approach is to use a doctor's prescription treatment, as these symptoms require targeted care, whether it's mild irritation or oozing. This usually involves a "topical steroid," which is a cream or lotion containing corticosteroids, applied directly to the skin.

What does it do? Reduce inflammation. Redness, lesions, itching, swelling, plaque—let your skillful hands help soothe them, and symptoms will disappear in a few days.

Please follow your doctor's instructions and use only on the affected area and during an outbreak, and at the recommended time.

    2. Continue to care for your entire body's skin . Except for areas with seepage, other areas still need moisturizing treatments, from face to toe. Massage after showering or as needed to help repair the skin and increase softness and hydration. (Please refer to the skincare application recommendations .)

    Tips to improve comfort

Moisturizing can also help combat itching. The following tips can reduce discomfort:

    - Cold compresses are a good helper to numb itching: use a spray, or put moisturizing products in the refrigerator and take them out before use, or apply a cold towel.

    - If your baby keeps scratching, please trim their nails regularly to prevent them from getting scratched.

    - If sleep is affected, choose highly tolerable bedding, such as the 100% cotton Stellatopia Soothing Pajamas (link to be established), which releases natural soothing ingredients and has an anti-itch effect, helping children with atopic dermatitis improve their sleep within 7 days .

    1. Clinical study: 66 infants with atopic skin disease were evaluated at 28 days.

    2. A consumer study conducted in collaboration with the French Eczema Association, involving 22 infants and young children, with results over 7 days.
